Trendy is looking pretty Transitional!

The hottest trend is the transitional kitchen here in Connecticut in this kitchen we installed over the summer!

Side note: Yes we know its March! We've been pretty busy bringing dream kitchens to Life and breathing New Life to old kitchens! The transformations have been fun but doesn't leave much time to blog...

 
Transitional Kitchen with Classic Carrara

Super trendy porcelain "fabric" textured, light grey floors and glass white subway tile balance the classic Carrara honed tops, and white shaker cabinets with, I might add, the grooves... add a perfect balance between super "trendy" and elegant beauty. The cathedral ceilings add to white, bright and airiness of the kitchen and the espresso furniture style island with the ultra sleek industrial stainless steel countertop helps ground this kitchen.

Take a closer look and you'll find some other industrial touches, such as the low hanging stainless steel lighting over the stainless steel farm sink and industrial style brushed nickel faucet.

The round knobs add a surprise traditional touch and tones down the stainless in the rest of the metal appliances. Yes, it is possible to have too much stainless steel, in case you were wondering...
